my grand father has an flat and office in Rajkot(Gujurat) and it is not been rented to anyone. but income tax officer wants to include deemed rent under income from other source u/s 22 of IT ACT.
pls suggest me wht to do under this sitiuation.

Please clarify whether the properties are two in number- one a flat (residential) and another office.
