Have you opted for Sec 115BAC. If no then this is the only solution. You end up in paying lesser tax.

Don't declare the income near the ceiling of 5lacs .

Never ever scrutiny cases selected for such a small amount.

Just claim HRA exemption upto 4000-5000

Whatever you do go legally.

HRA has Calculation as per Section 10(13A). So you can't enter whatever amount you want
