Refund Credited Date: EXPECTING TO BE CREDITED NEXT WEEK

I had to revise my ITR as I found some mismatch in my HRA with form 16. Earlier I replied back to the risk management email with option 1 and now I have revised my ITR today and E verified. I will update here what happens next in this forum.

Don't have any fear with this mail. some of the people are claiming incorrect refund by escaping income. income tax department has collected this information from their source. As the number of cases may in lakhs so they are providing an opportunity to correct the claim. if you shown correct income or credit of TDs then choose option 1 or 2for revising the return as the case may be.

Yes,,,
Return can be revised even if any one have selected option 1 and submitted.Further even revised return can be revised any number of times within prescribed time limit. If any one has selected option 1 and and there is illogical claim/or substantail difference between ITR form filed by taxpayer and form 16, system will not process and case may be transferred to jurisdictional assessing officer for manual scrutiny process. So if any one has claimed false deduction or shown low income beyond reasonable limit intentionally to claim high refund should file revised return. If you need any assistance in revising the return,

I selected option 1 and after couple of weeks i filled a revised one with corrections . But now initial submission has been approved today. Will the revised one be looked up on again and do the correction?
