Online acknowledgement (ITR-V), for the for the assessment year 2009-2010, of ITR filled, in case person liable U/s 44AB must be sent to the following address with in a period of 30 days from filling:-

Post Bag No. 1,

Electronic City Post office,

Bengaluru,

Karnataka - 560100

Points to remember:-

1.Copy of ITR-V should not be fold in the envelope. Therefore, envelope must be of A4 Size.

Form your attachment i have not found anywhere such information of not folding is given, again my personal experiance is that i folded the ITR V & also send it & subsequently also recd. the acknowledgement without finding any difficulties. so waiting for your reply.

There is a confusion among CA's about to fold the acnknowledgement or not. But, from your experience this is shown that the matter of acknowledgement is not so confusing. So, thanks.
