Income Tax Return for Deceased Individual

As legal representative u can file ITR of deceased.

File itr as usual just in declaration u need to state you are filing it as legal representative.

Legal hire will file the itr
login then my account then click request type
select Request category add legal hire
then submit
select the type of request click on new request fill the details of the deceased person
select itr file after death submit.
and you need to upload documents as mentioned to proof as legal hire and deceased person

First of all you have to register yourself as a legal heir on the E filling portal then file return from that portal
to register follow steps as provided by ayusmita only above.
