24 July 2012Please confirm as to how i will show the income u/s 194J. This is salary for my with flat 10% deduction every month. Employer has provided form16A. Please let me know if i can show it in income from other sources in saral form or ITR1. Earlier I was suggested ITR4 but how will I fill my other details like bank interest etc.ITR4 asks for balance sheet details etc. Please let me know the steps.

Hi Ashu,
your income is taxable under the head 'Profits and Gains from Business or Profession' therefore ITR 4 is recommonded to u.
In ITR 4 there is separate part for the assessees who does not maintain proper books of accounts. Go to fill up only that part of return along with TDS details.
and not required to fill up any other detail like Balance Sheet/ profit & Loss account
