how to calculate pension for govt. servant retired person.

ITR Return
obtain form 16 and declare or fill ROI as per form 16
Retired govt servant does not get form 16 from their employer. For ITR return, you need Pension pay order (ppo) issued by account general of india and bank statement.
if a assesse provide me to all calculate pension amount then i put it on salary section & can i check 26as also i think govt. servant exempt pls tell me how to file my return under which columns? CA SUNIL KUMAR
If assesse provide pension detail, just cross check the detail with 26AS and bank statement. Fill the detail under head salary income.

UNDER SECTION 10(10A) IF MONTHY PENSION RECIVED IT'S FULLY TAXABLE IN HAND OF GOVT. EMPLOYEE AND LUMP SUM PENSION IS FULLY EXEMPTED
