An application for condonation of delay in filing the return for the A. Y. 2008-09 & 2009-10 will have to be made to the respective Commissioner of Income Tax. The application should contain some acceptable reasons for not filing the return in time.
Seperate applications will be required to be made for both the years justifying the delay in filing the return.
For A. Y. 2010-11 a belated return can be filed upto 31/03/2012.
& for A. Y. 2011-12 a regular return can be very easily filed within the time limit.
