Why there is no need to show purchase of jewellery in I.T.R of salaried individual? ? Plz explain me..

You need to show the Income for the Previous Year. Your investments details and all are up to you whether you want to enter or no. Ultimately the crux is the IT Department wants tax.And investing in any product does not attract tax liability ( generally )
