what if I filled return after 31-03-2018 pls tell me.

No file before 31-03-2018.
it is not a question of "what if" but an issue that you cannot! so don't bother yourself with the ifs and get the return completed before 31 March

No way for filing IF You are not filed on or before the Last Date... The AY related ITR can't opened...
You can't file after 31st March 2018 fir the AY 16-17 and 17-18 except any notice from ITD.

my owner is ready to pay penalty but he wants file tax return after 1 April 18 because books are not ready. so please tell me can I file ITR after 31 Mar 18 .
not possible. As finance officer, it is your duty to ensure that books are ready in time
