Income tax refund
one person has file ITR for ay 16-17... total income 3,70,000 and paid tax 10,300 approx.
he wants to revise his income to the 2,80,000.
so now tax will be 1030rs.
whether he will receive refund of balance self assessed tax paid?

Of course, he will get refund. However since you are reducing income you may have to justify the same and substantiate your explanation with proofs if selected for scrutiny.
