sir, my client Chennai based company pay salary apr to Feb 2019, but mar he goes to Malaysia receive salary by Malaysia currency and pay tax on that country
now ITR 1 salary apr to Feb 19 or apr to mar 19, how to handle the case? sir

normally for SALARY CASES, SALARY INCOME RECEIVED WILL BE COMPUTED FOR MONTHS FEB - FEB SINCE FOR SALARIED EMPLOYEES WE FOLLOW CASH SYSTEM OF ACCOUNTING. IF HE RECEIVED MARCH SALARY FROM MALAYSIAN COMPANY DURING MARCH ITSELF THEN INCLUDE IT IN SALARY INCOME AND CLAIM FOREIGN TAX CREDIT
