Income tax on Dividends received by shareholders
Please advise whether income tax is payable on dividends on equity shares received by the shareholders during F.Y.2020-21. And what is the rule applicable for next F.Y. Thanks.

Yes taxable from FY 2020-21 onwards under income from other sources as per ur applicable slab rate
