Dear experts, in New INCOME TAX PORTAL BANK ACCOUNT VALIDATION TAB MOBILE NUMBER AND EMAIL ID SHOWING. BUT MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CASES EMAIL ID NOT LINK TO BANK ACCOUNT. PLEASE SUGGEST IN REFUND CASE EMAIL ID LINK BANK ACCOUNT COMPULSORY.

There is no requirement for email id to be linked with bank account. you will have to register email id on income tax portal, after otp verification it will get registered.
