Kindly let me know the income tax implications in following categories:
1) STCG & LTCG for liquid funds
2) STCG & LTCG for low duration funds like templeton India low fund.

If listed on recognised stock exchange--
STCG 15%
LTCG Exempt
If not listed on recognised stock exchange--
STCG As per slabs
LTCG 10% without indexation, 20% with indexation
No such special treatment for liquid funds in act.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
