One more writers name to confuse you more ; Dr. Girish Ahuja' :-). Dear friend, all the books are good and all the writers are well known. Instead of getting confused in various writers, better is to buy any writer's book and start study. Income tax is matter of understanding the sectionsa and rules and all writers just explain it. Nobody can change it. You must have a good command over sections and provisions. Then all books will seem good to you. All the best.

The Income Tax is purely a practical subject for which understanding of provisions of Income tax act is important.
In my opinion Dr. Girish Ahuja & Ravi Gupta's "systematic approach to income tax" is the best bookk.

if u have sufficient time than go for Vinod gupta sir(Delhi) notes.........
they will provide u good knowledge of tax with basic concepts

Dear manish,
I am taking coachings from Dr. Girish Ahuja. His book is so well explained that before every class i study the next topic to be discussed and it seems as if i have read it. In class he just explain what is in the books so his books are written copy of what he teach in class. further the no of cases he has given in book are really remarkable which helps to understand the topic quite well.i will prefer if u could arrange the book from someone then do read wealth tax or some topic which u havenot done in PCC. U will understand my point. Wese still ALL THE BEST BRO
