please suggest , husband is coborrower for home loan taken where only the wife is sole-owner.is husband entitled to take deduction for home loan borrowed(for both Principal and interest amount).?

no not eligible.only the owner of house property is eligible for home loan benefits

Hello , I think that only if person is also a co-owner of the aforesaid property you can claim deduction

If possible ,You can claim deduction by altering the clause of ownership(Deed) of the property from sole ownership to joint ownership with prior intimation and permission from the bank , consult this solution is possible or not
