hello i have income of Rs 240000 from share business in future and derivative ..then whether it is necessary to file return ....
and suppose if i file return then whether 1000 penalty will be levived or not

As per sec 139(1) no need to file ITR if income less than 2.5 Lakhs...
In case Assessee will be file his ITR then penalty is not levied as per sec 234F...

even if this return is filed after due date u/s 139 (1)????
