23 January 2017I had filed income tax return for FY 15-16 in ITR 4 having Commission as income. My net income after deduction under Chapter VI is Rs 120,210/- and also opted as NO BOOKS of Accounts Maintained and have entered only gross profits and expenses in ITR 4. However i have received intimation 139(9) from CPC with Error Code 31.
Can any one guide how to respond under 139(9)?

under 44AA person having commission income has to compulsorily maintain books of accounts but you have choosen No Books of accounts maintained ?
