Income tax
A is assessed in the status of HUF consisting of himself and his wife and two married daughters. Now wife is expired please let us know whether HUF exists or not, as alive karta of HUF only and two married daughter's please quote case law also.

A HUF includes A male member and his wife ,his son and his unmarried daughters but not married daughters. The daughter, on marriage, ceases to be a member of her father's family and becomes a member of her husband's family.
There should be at least two members to form a HUF and they may be two male or two female or combination of both.
