This price money would be taxable under which head????give reason in supprt of ur anwr

it would be taxable under the head PGBP. This is becuase he is getting this prize by applying his own skill & talent whihc relates to his profession.
Had he recd any prize from teh Govt of India such as Bharat Ratna, padma bhushan etc.. it would had been taxable as income from other sources.
