a person can take from his relatives (sec56) of any amount.

1. NO DEDUCTION IS AVIALABLE FOR GIVING GIFT.
2. IF YOU ARE ASKING ABOUT TAX IMPLECATIONS OF RECEIVING GIFT YOU SHOULD REFER SECTION 56.
