an individual becomes a resident if he satisfies any one of the basic conditions:-
1) he is in india for 182 days or more in the prev yr.
2)he is in india for 60 days or more in the prev yr and 365 days or more during the 4 years immediately preceding the prev year..
If he satisfies any one of the aforesaid conditions then he is a resident...
additional conditions are not required in your case coz ordiarily resident or not ordinarily resident his income will be taxable if it is received/accrued in india..
