If you intend to continue with tution income then show your income as Profit or Gain from business or Profession(PGBP)
As it will help you to claim expenses against your income in future where your income will go on increasing.
If its one time transaction then either treat it as PGBP or income from other sources.

You cannot claim any expenses if the income is shown under other heads
moreover - you have earned this money by providing services so it should be under the head PGBP

Can Anybody tell " agar kisi ko apni income tuition fee me show krni hai to kaise krenge ,,,,, to uske liye other sources me show kre ya fir income under head pgbp me show kre ??????

My child School Monthly fee reciept mentioned tution fee and Annual fee. whether both are considered under 80C for tax rebate?
Tutuion fee : 3000
Annual fee : 3600 taken quaterly (Total 3600*4)
