Kindly suggest can we able to treat expenses relating to Books bought (annual publication by cheque) as a revenue expenditure while computing Income from profession of a CA firm, if it is treated as capital expenditure kindly specify the rate of depreciation as per IT act.

Depreciation rate for books is 40% for AY 18-19.
