Guys,

In house property, generally if a person own's a land other than assessee, and the assessee constructs a building on tht land, and lets it out for rent, The assessee shall be deemed to be the owner of house property. However,.the Land belongs to some other person, From his angle, This shall be viewed as "SUB Letting" na..!? And shouldn't the Income from House property be charged as "Income from other sources" from the angle of "Owner of Land"..!?!?

Do reply asaap..!!

hi divya,

the assessee shall not be deemed to be the owner. he has not complied with any of the conditions specified in section27. hence for him its IFOS(Sub-letting). for the owner of the house, it isIHP
