Is NRIs from GCC countries need to pay Income Tax. Is this true?

No income generated from the gulf will not be taxed, but the income generated in India is taxable

Indian residents in the UAE and the Middle East will not be taxed on their incomes earned abroad, the Indian government has clarified. If income is earned in Gulf, and i come to India for 6 months in previous year (becomes Resident) to meet my family. Will there is be now tax or not,?
