Why the difference of income declared to employer and in ITR?
Which one is correct? justify as per your rental receipts & reply accordingly.

Who gave data to AIS reports?
If the ITD do not have any data from employer, then how come the query?

That is exactly what I want to know... I am doing business and filling ITR using ITR 4S
There is nothing in form 16 I have checked.. in AIS there is only inward remitance of 2500rs.

File feed back in AIR against the entry of rental income, and declare the actual income as per your receipts.
Then file the return ITR 4 ignoring the massage,
