18 July 2013My client a Govt employee has his deducted through salary in excess of his tax liability. The TDS is provisionally booked.
not final. Now if I file will he get refund. ....as the entry is prosional.

It has to be ensured that P- provisional status is converted to F - final status for grant of TDS credit. For that the deductee has to follow up with deductor.
