Dear Vikas,

You need not to create clients IDs,

A practicing CA should give his mail ID there.

So that he can be updated by the department in case

of any problem in ralation to respective clients record.

Dear Vikas

What Mr. Dashrath has said is absolutely right way.  Myself is doing the same from last two years.

    "

Make a separate id for income tax purpose & use it

YEs you can use common email id for everyone. but if you can make ID for your client & give them the password etc. i dont think it will get deleted within a year.

all free mail services gives unlimited space. so you can make their id & check all the subscripttion items offered which will comes daily in their a/c so there id will be in use all the time till next year you need to use the id it will be there.

Trust me i hv also tried this and works

my 2-3 ids i m having all all r running and i m not checking them. from last 1-2 years

Thanks

Praveen

Till the time i was also using a common id for every client but as the process becoming a bit complex and the importance of email id now incresed that why i thought to discuss it.

Hope what Mr.  Dashrath said will work.

Thanks for the support gentlemens.

Please also do take care while registering new clients on the efiling website and making sure that there are no spelling mistakes in the registration as currently the link for activating the account is being sent to the email id and if there is some mistake in the id then it will never reach
