A corporate client of mine receives commission from theri Associated Enterprises Companies from abroad. Assuming that the commission will be in the range of 30-40 lacs, will the amount be liable for Service Tax. If the amount is not liable for Service Tax should be nil Return be filed under Import of Services.

If the commission is recived in CFE then there is no need to pay any ST. There is also no need to file the returns in this case.

This amounts to export of serices and no service tax liability.
