Dear Sir/Madam

We are manufacture we are receving the Raw material (sliver) from France. The material is sent for Jobwork and sent back to the customer.

1) How do we clear the Cutoms without paying any duty kindly guide the procudure

2) what has to done with scrape

3) what is the impact of GST

4) Again after fininshing the job work what is the procedure to export

Kindly suggest and share the procedure & rules of Customs and GST impact or can be mail to prasannag75 @ yahoo.co.in

> At the time of importing the R/M, you need to pay Import Duty as well as IGST. Import without duty is possible only when you keep the imported goods in the custom's warehouse and do the manufacturing operation in the warehouse only and export the final product from such warehouse. > If you have paid import duty and IGST - you may claim the Import Duty paid under Duty Drawback Rules later after exporting the final product within the prescribed period and after fulfilling the certain conditions. Regarding the IGST paid, you can avail and utilise the credit of the same against your other output supplies. If there is not possible to utilise such credit, you can claim refund for the same. > In case of Scrap, if you dispose the same in india, you need to pay GST on the same. Or, if you want to export the same also, it will be treated like the final product you have exported. > If you want to export the goods from the place of Jobworker, you can do the same provided either the J/W is registered person under GST or the place of business of J/W is shown as your Additional Place of Business in your GST profile.
