Import export licence

Dear Rakesh,

1. First and foremost thing required for importing anything to India is IEC code, Import Export Code, if you don't have it, need to apply to DGFT and obtain it, thereafter you also need to get the IEC registered at the port import, prior to import of consignments.

2. If you import by AIr mode - transit may take 2-5 days, In sea mode it may take 25 to 30 days

3. Cost- you can get in touch with any forwarder, will give you the costing
