practical training is MANDATORY whether you practice as CS or not. You can serve you training in an Audit firm also, provided there is enough Scope for learning and it is approved.

Practical training is required only if u want membership of ICSI. If u dont want to do practice and neither u want to get employed as CS then u can keep your training pending. But yes officially you cant call yourself CS without practical training. However ICSI grants exemption from training if you have equivalent experience in field of secreterial/management/auditing etc.

by management do you mean its MBA? if i complete my mba after Bcom and also if i have cleared 3rd year of CS.. then is it possible to call my self a CS exempting practical training?
Please explain this in detail.. m confused..
actually i wanna work as a MBA in future but since i am going through BCOM route i have selected this CS course to accompany my graduation.
