Bcoz, You may get degree(authorise for CAT) from any University which are in U/S 2 or 3 of University Act..........and working under the umrella of UGC.

Yes, it is eligible for CAT criteria. and the course is not 1 year. If you read the prospectus, it states that the min duration is 3 yrs and max is 6 yrs. you are simply exempted from appearing in the Part A and C courses.
And you will get the B.Com(A7F) degree only after the completion of your articleship. So its a min. 3 yrs course.
