yes, they will be tested but not on the level of expert knowledge.

hi...

institute can ask you little bit about IFRS.. I gave my CA Final in Nov, 2008 and there was a question on IFRS (4 Marks)

Yes, For CA Final (New), ICAI will ask question on IFRS as well as AS in Financial Reporting paper.
