IndAS (so called IFRS) are not applicable for May 2012 exams of IPCC as of now. Because the date of implementation of IndAS is not yet notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

Review of CA Syllabus: We have taken a much desired initiative and formed a Committee as per direction of the Council to review comprehensively our syllabus for CA course curriculum that has not been undertaken since 2006.
As said by ICAI above, they have clearly mentioned that they have formed a Committee to review the syllabus comprehensively. Hence, in my view, review of all subjects takes time. So there wont be any changes atleast for May 2012 exams as i expect. However, institute will soon publish the syllabus applicable for May 2012 exams. So lets wait for it.
