Carbon credit is a good topic.
Rather than presenting it based on the general points - what,how,etc.. you can emphasis on the correlation it has with global warming. What is the impact of it on global warming..
You can also critically examine the concept from your perspective.
All the best!!!!

If possible try "tax implications in the IFRS Scenario". You can analyse the method of accounting under Schedule VI of the Companies Act (Present method) and method of accounting under IFRS (Proposed) AND analyse how this change will impact the tax liability.

Do not go for some thing common...try something which is different and new for others...

Carbon credits are like environment points u earn wen u undertake environment friendly projects.
Whenever a co. pollutes environment dey wud need CC. Those who earn CC can sell it to those industries. They can use it themselves as well.
Big 4 CA Firms usually deal in CC. Dey purchase n sell CC.
