I want any idt notes for nov 13 attempt and want to know which is the best book for idt

So far as Book is concerened its Bangar. Its best book for IDT. There are many othe books available for IDT but for exam preparation its best and no alternative.

Thanks for the advice but i have not taken any classes for idt so what should be my approach and what topic should I start with and what about excise how should I go with it.

IDT books for CA Final– N S Govindan for Concepts (BEST for self study) (Padhuka or bangur for past exam questions).

Vineet sodhani all 3 modules are best.....I find those modules better than bangar and v.s.datey ......I have gone through the books of thses 3 authors only so cannot compare with padhuka or others

Thank you friends for the replies but let me know is it true that for either nov 13 or may 14 service tax would be covering major part of idt paper since it had a major amendments n all

Hi kirti

Let there be thousands of amendments in service tax

The fact remains the same that it cannot be asked for more than 40 marks.... :-D

Hope you are aware about the fixed marks distribution of idt

It is 20 cus + 40 ex + 40 st & vat

hey i know the paper pattern but the fact is service tax is drastically amended

& the logic is THE ICAI may give serivce tax more weightage in either nov13 or may14
