Ids 2016

Hi all

one of my friends was made to declare a heavy amount under the ids 2016 but unfortunately while depositing the tax the tax was deposited under the company's name instead of the declarant's name due to the accountant's error, is there any remedy available for the said issue, is there a power of the department in such cases where they may treat it merely as an error and deem it to be a correct deposit and compliance of the scheme, kindly respond asap as the matter is very urgent.
