I have joined ICWAI Intermediate now. I want some suggestion from the seniors regarding some of studing techniques or methods they used while studing & while clearing their exams which will help me . &also pls help me which book i can reffer for Direct Taxation.

Don't take tension, and be cool, 4 pursuing any exam. Clear ur concepts and practice over them by attempt some question. Girish Ahuja is good book for DT

If you have already bought a prospectus, then great. If not your first step is to buy the prospectus.
Get all the relevant study materials. You have to complete reading the study materials at least once (from the first page to the last page, no options, no analysis).
In the prospectus they must have given you suggested readings and the names of authors. You must have one book per subject. always read from the recommended books.
always have the habit of visiting the Institute's website. they put up updates.
Right now there is a scanner put up at the Institute's website.
So basically your reading list must comprise of
Study materials
Recommended book
Past papers at least 10 exams.
