i am awaiting ICWAI final result. can any1 tell me how much salary i am likely to get after i qualify?

Agree with Ayush. Basically ur Salary wil be depends on the Knowledge and experience u hv gained. More the experience and knowledge better the package will be.

I dont want to hurt the scenario in the CWA iNSTITUTE

Fresh Qualified Cost Accountant -1.80 Lacs per annum

Fresh CA -2.50 Lacs p.a in CA Notice board

Displayed in chennai Chapter as confirmed by my Friends

please comment critically on this

Dear Sunil,

Though you had experience in accounts and Taxation you gain experience on cost aspects as for accounts and taxation Qualified CAS will look after since being CA'S CORE AREA .I think you better concentrate on Cost aspects in a manufacturing company like installing a costing system,costing of products etc

For your knowledge I would like to inform you that I am getting 63000/- p.m.as a manager accounts , I am having 6 years of experience in ACCt and MIS ( A hand on SAP FICO) . SO be postive and worked hard

How much do u think I would get after I qualify ICWAI & CS with 4 years experience in a/c and tax?

I dont thinks that a CWA can only work in costing field , I know thousands of CWAs who are praticing as a Finance manager and TAx manager as well . There is no field called CORE AREA , Both CA's and CWA's are equally capable to practice in tax , audit , cost , management and consultancy as well. The only things that matter is your confidence , your experience and knowledge.

DO Not under estimate either to CA or to CWA , because both are professionals

Hi Sunil, I am also waiting for the icwai' s final result. Regarding your querry ,don't worry much about 'how much salary' just now ,have faith, work hard and join a company of repute if u can. The no of zero's on salary will take care of itself. As someone has suggested 20plus, is something u should get and from thereon,it's ur work which will add more numbers to your package.

YES AGREE, CWA ALSO CAN BE IN ANY FIELD NOT ONLY IN COSTING, MY FRIEND HAVE 6 EXP AND WORKING AS DM IN SOME MNC, AND GETTING 13LAK PA..HE HAS GOOD EXP AND CWA INTER NOT COMPLETED ALSO, MAINLY YOU SHOULD HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE AND EXPOSURE WITH CWA MAKE GOOD POSTION WITH GOOD SALARY..DONT THINK ANYTHINK JUST DO YOUR WORK RESULTS WILL COME YOUR BEHIND...

If you got the profile of Cost Accountant, then approx Rs.5 Lacs you can get. But if you for accounts profile then you will get somewhere around Rs.3 Lacs.

My Advise: Go for BPOs
