ICAI signs MoU with Bharathiar University

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today inked a memorandum of understanding with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore providing for mutual recognition and study-cum-examination arrangements for the members and students of the two premier institutions.

 

ICAI signed the MoU with Bharathiar University (It is among one of the top ten of Four hundred and thirty one universities in India) for furtherance of Commerce and management education and to provide an opportunity for those who have registered for the Chartered Accountancy course to acquire Degree / Post Graduate Degree.Under the MoU, the Bharathiar university would offer B.Com, M.Com, BBA and MBA degree courses for the students and members of the ICAI.

 

ICAI and the university would organize a personal contact programme for the students and members and a coordination committee would be constituted to facilitate exchange of students’ records and monitor their progress on a continuous basis. This will be an excellent bilateral cooperation between two educational institutions in order to exchange the highest standards of professional education, study training to enhance the ICAI members and students comprehension.

 

The Institute and University keeping in view the current challenging professional scenario as a result of rampantly changing global situation had specially designed the syllabi of these courses jointly.
