plz let me know how many times a newly qualified chartered accountant can avail the opportunity of ICAI placements????
&
if a person clear c.a final in more than 1 attempt , hw much is the scope of being recruited in the placement???

Only one time, a Newly qualified CA can appear in the campus interviews.
Definately there are chances to be selected if there are more than one trials in Final... Companies like E&Y, godrej and some other have the criteria of first attempt throughout...
But other companies see the percentage and select the candidate.
Even companies who are taking open test prior to interviews will selct most no. of candidates or may be all so that only the one who clears it can appear for personal interview. so in that case all have equal chance.. Just have to give your best shot in Interview.....

Only one chance is available to a newly qualified Chartered Accountant. If that chance misses, no retake available.
Further, upto two attempts is ok, but more than that creates little bit difficulty to impress the penal.
So don't ever miss that golden opportunity and keep checking CMII of ICAI website for regular updates.
