ICAI Narrowing the syllabus.

I'm a CA Inter student. I have been observing some recent exclusions of topics both from CA inter and final. For a student, it's really a good news. But I'm worried that this narrowing the syllabus, will increase in the pass percentage that Ultimately results in damaging the worth of the most prestigious course. Will this course loose its worth because of the exclusion? What's your opinion on this?
