Hi Guys.I am from Kochi doing CA Inter.This buddy business is a good idea.Shall we form a group and some lesson plans to go forward with this?An example is, suppose all of us need to study Income Tax, we would divide all the sections between each other and each of them must thoroughly study the sections we are entrusted with.Then come on a fixed day and chat live through conference in a messenger.The best option is PALTALK or SKYPE.Each of us should lecture on what we have studied one by one and others will shoot their questions at him.All persons having answers for the question can answer the question one by one.In PALTALK this can be done by raising the hands.i.e. if someone wants to answer a question he can raise the hands(option for raising hands is there) and he will be transferred the mic to answer. Let us plan something like this. In Income Tax last section is section298.So let us suppose that there are around 400 sections in Income Tax.Imagine if there were 200 of us in this group, how long would it take to finish studying Income Tax.May be maximum one week and that too very thorougly after clearing all doubts instantly. The quality of Chartered Accountants have deteriorated considerably in the last decade which is evident from the type of work still going on in Audit Firms.How many of us have seen a good Audit Programme or how many of us have formulated a complex calculation in MSExcel?It is so long one has heard of the word INTERNAL CONTROL REVIEW inside a Chartered Accountant's Office.If this trend is allowed to continue our profession would not take much time to be outdated.And with computerisation it is not possible for a person survive as an individual.Only with cooperative effort can we outdo others.We should feel it as our responsibility to maintain the charm of our profession. we should not stammer when asked by someone (may be even a stupid politician) about the merits of Indian system of Taxation over American system of Taxation.There are six post qualification courses for CA and how many have u seen someone who has taken any of them.It is just no one want to take further strain after CA.But if this plan of ours becomes a success ,it does not become a strain to take up some more courses since we are already thorough with the subject and do not forget. So let us plan this thing faster Post your ideas on my idea and let us collect the ideas,formulate some plans.
