do practice more and more practical questions,as practical portion has more weightage in exam,
for which you should refer Girish Ahuja Sir's Practical Approach,It's best book to prepare tax,
also by doing practical questions you can easily remember theory portion with more clarity.
First Finish Service Tax and Vat. Easily you will cover 25% of the syllabus..Then finish the recent amendments..Then proceed with Income Tax..Finish Salaries, Profits and Gains from Business or Profession and Capital Gains first as they are hardcore chapters in Income Tax and then go for other chapters. Preferred books are T.N.Manoharan or Padhukas.
