From 1/4/2021 4 Digits HSN code is mandatory if your turnover is less than 5 Crore, so for you it is mandatory to mention HSN code in GSTR1 please refer notification 78/2020 ( C T ) dated 15/10/2020 .
Yes you have to mention the HSN code in invoice and Gstr1 as per notification 78/2020 if your turnover less than 5crore 4 digit HSN code mandatory required
