If you know product name then you will go to last page of book there will be available Commodity Index by product name and product code.

HSN code is not available online. And it is prohiitively priced- aprrox 1000 UK pounds I can remebmer.
Arun is right in terms of finding a product in Indian Custom or Excise code, which is ased on HSN.
