19 October 2014Can a employee claimed the benefit of HRA and RFA both simultaneously under the income tax act and if the employer has deducted the tds on payment made for RFA to the employee after deducting TDS under section 194I can such tds can be claimed by employee in ITR.

No, you can not claim RFA and HRA at a time.
RFA means the Employer is providing a rented accomodation to the employee, where employer bear the rent. Then TDS on rent will be deducted in the name of the Rented accomodation owner. How can a Employee avail such TDS?
In whose name 194I TDS has been deducted. Kindly clarify....
